Recognizing an educational responsibility, the University has developed these and other regulations to promote responsible decision-making and behavior relative to the use of alcoholic beverages on University premises and at University events. Distribution procedures must be followed for events on University premises and at University events. Registering to distribute alcoholic beverages at The University of North Carolina at Greensboro is a privilege, and you must adhere to the University’s policy concerning Alcoholic Beverages on University Premises and at University Events. Failure to adhere to university policy and procedures may result in the denial of future registration and disciplinary action.

Procedures for Distribution of Alcoholic Beverages on Campus

Departments or registered campus organizations desiring to serve or consume any type of alcoholic beverage on University premises or University events must register their event in advance by means of the Alcohol Event Registration Form. Completed forms must be submitted at least 5 business days in advance of the event to permit time to clarify issues and to distribute registration information to other university officials. A copy of the approved registration form must be available at the event as proof that registration was made.
